Why do you charge for shipping?
First, there really is no such thing as “free shipping”. Every vendor must either charge for shipping or adjust their pricing to cover that cost. Many times a small order of a few bags of glass beads may cost less than $15, but cost $6.50 or more ship via the very cheapest method. Most vendors (us included) really can’t afford to cover that cost and stay in business over the long haul.
So, we’ve tried to strike a balance between affordable shipping on smaller orders while providing free shipping to customers who have placed larger orders. Currently, we offer “Free Standard Shipping” within the US on orders of more than $25. On orders less than that, they typical shipping cost is $2.99-$4.99 based on the weight of your order and the level of service you choose.
