This Sterling Silver pearl shortener finding is shaped like a figure eight. It allows you to shorten a long strand of pearls or other beads by creating a temporary loop in the strand, as shown. It is hinged and has a snap closure and a safety clip. It will not damage your pearls or beads. The overall size is about 16x8.5mm. When closed, the rounded openings in the finding are about 4mm, so any beads larger than that will not slip through. In our usage example, the pearls shown are 7mm in diameter. Package size: 1 Piece.
